I think this is gorgeous for side dish, but some really dont like slimy foods like okra. I used the same batter for onion rings as posted in appetizers.

love fried okra -- but here in the Southern US, the okra is sliced then battered then fried. you'll never see a whole one.
i think i'll make some tonight. now i know i don't have to slice them first.
yep u may try this, and I'll try your battered one... nice idea, I haven't tried that yet. :-)
